4. After the device is setup, notify GHG with the IP addresses assigned to the device. GHG will test the connection to the device(s) and setup the services.
III. Enroll User into Time terminal
1. Power on the device
2. Push MENU button
3. Select User Manage then push OK button
4. Select Enroll User then push OK button
5. Select Enroll FP then push OK button
6. Push button OK for new enroll
7. Push button OK for new enroll at the given enroll number
8. Then place finger on the fingerprint sensor three times
9. Push button OK to save
10. Push ESC button to return

IV. Install Time Terminal Server Software
1. Download the terminal server package. Unzip the files into a temporary folder.
2. Open the temporary folder. Run the setup.exe to install the terminal server.
Please install the server into a short name folder, ie. C:\ghgtime.
Do not install into program files folder.
3. Follow the on screen directions.
V. Create ODBC for Time Terminal Server
Open Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Data Sources (ODBC) and create an ODBC connection to ghgfpserver.mdb in the installed terminal server folder. Give the ODBC a name of ghgfp.
a) Open Control Panel/Administrative Tools
b) Open the Data source (ODBC)

c) Select System DSN and click on Add button

d) Select driver for Microsoft Access and click Finish
e) Input ghgfp as Data Source Name. Select the ghgfpserver.mdb file in the folder you installed the terminal server. Click OK.


VI. Configure Time Terminal Server
1. Run fpserver.exe

2. Click on FP Device Management

3. Add or change the device parameters. Set port number to 4370 to all BioClock devices.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Connection EEMS Test to test the connection to the EEMS server. Contact GHG for the EEMS server IP address and listening port number.
6. You can click on Connection EEMS Test button to test the connection to EEMS server
7. Close device management window
8. Select a device in the device list and click on Connection Test to test the connection to the device.
9. Click Close button to close the window
VII Set up Window Service
a) Open a DOS command prompt and navigate to the installed terminal server folder. Run the following command
instsrv ghgTerminalServer <Full path of the installed terminal server folder>\srvany.exe
instsrv ghgTerminalServerControl <Full path of the installed terminal server folder>\srvany.exe
b) Run regedt32.exe
c) Locate the following sub key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ghgTerminalServe
d) From the Edit menu, click Add Key, type the following then click OK
Key Name:Parameters
Class: <leave blank>
e) Select the parameters key
f) From the edit menu, click Add Value, type the following and click OK:
Value Name: Application
Data Type:REG_SZ
String: <Full path of the installed terminal server folder>\ghgAcroTerminalServer.exe
g) Locate the following sub key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ ghgTerminalServerContrl
h) From the Edit menu, click Add Key, type the following and click on OK
Key Name: Parameters
Class: <leave blank>
i) Select the parameters key
j) From the edit menu, click Add Value, type the following and click OK:
Value Name: Application
Data Type:REG_SZ
String: <Full path of the installed terminal server folder>\ servicecontrol.exe
k) Close the registry editor
l) Start the service manually on the service control panel
